Trip to the Holy Land
We have an opportunity to pilgrimage to the Holy Land together! If you have not been to Israel before, or have been, but would like an opportunity to let an encounter with the places of the Bible sink more deeply into your heart and spirit, this is for you!
Pastor Margaret will be co-leading this Educational Opportunities trip with Rev. Emily Earnshaw from Canon City along with other pastors and churches from our District.
The trip itself will be December 27, 2012 – January 5, 2013 and will cost in the $3,000 - $4,000 range (including airfare, accommodations, ground transportation, tour guides, many meals, etc.).
We are still in conversation about the details of the trip, including destinations, so if there are particular sites you would like to have the opportunity to experience, please speak to Pastor Margaret quickly!
One of the particular blessings of this trip is that we are planning to get the tour participants together for learning and social events for a full year before the actual trip. We will study, pray and worship together… and thus travel together as friends, spiritual companions and fellow pilgrims, rather than as strangers.
