Beliefs

As individuals that have different experiences, different backgrounds, and different family dynamics, we do not all have the same beliefs.

But as a church, we share these values:
Love
Truth
Community
Relationships
Learning
Service

We believe in the Triune God, that God makes Godself known in three distinct and co-existing experiences: God the Creator, Jesus Christ the Redeemer, and The Holy Spirit the Sustainer.

We have faith that God is the God of love. We have faith that God extends abundant grace to all of humanity, that there is nothing we do to earn God's love and that there is nothing we can do to lose it. We have faith that God calls us to be in relationship with God and with each other. We have faith that God calls us to join in God's work of establishing justice, peace, and righteousness.

United Methodist Beliefs

As United Methodists, we draw our beliefs and theology from four sources: The Bible, Reason, Experience, and Tradition. You can learn more here.

The denominational website of the United Methodist Church, the larger church body to which we belong, contains great content on the theology, beliefs, faith, and hope of our church. You can learn more about our denominational theology here: United Methodist Beliefs.

If you have a question about our theology and faith, please use the Contact page to send us your question.
